Election sign tampering results in mischief charge

Normally it’s young people who commit mischief to election signs, but OPP in East Algoma have charged a senior citizen for tampering with an election sign.  Police say a 66-year-old man continuously removed an election sign near Bruce Mines in Plummer Additional Township.  The sign was at a highway intersection and a side road.  The man is charged with mischief under $5,000.
