Police had to chase down a man with the canine unit in Little Current.
Wednesday morning at around 2:30am, Manitoulin-Espanola OPP and UCCM Anishnaabe Police Service were called to a home in Little Current where a man was threatening the residents.
When police arrived, the man fled, but the canine unit eventually tracked him down.
The 28-year-old man from Little Current has been charged with possession of a dangerous weapon and uttering threats to cause bodily harm.
He is to appear in Gore Bay court on January 19th.
