North East LHIN announces new Chief Executive Officer

Since North East Local Health Integration Network CEO, Louise Paquette, stepped down earlier this year, Kate Fyfe has been filling in.

The health care organization, which delivers home and community care services to more than 17,000 northerners daily, announced they have appointed Jérémy Stevenson.

Stevenson, who is bilingual, comes from the Mattawa Hospital and Algonquin Nursing Home and will be assuming his new role January 22nd.

He holds a Master of Health Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Ottawa among other distinctions.

With his new position, he plans to focus efforts on building a more patient-focused and integrated system of care in Northeastern Ontario.
