East Algoma OPP have a warning out about fake salesmen. A man tried to get into a person’s home in Elliot Lake claiming he had to check the owner’s hot water tank for his company. The home-owner was suspicious and wouldn’t let the man in. Later, a check with the company he claimed to work for confirmed it has no salespeople in the area.
