Boys belonging to Espanola’s 357 Hero sea cadet corps have won an orientation competition against other northern counterparts. In the competition the cadets had to find 23 checkpoints laid out in rough country with only a map and compass at their disposal. The Espanola boys found all the checkpoints with the best time and amassed 590 out of 600 possible points.
