Espanola police have arrested a local man following several complaints from his mother.
Espanola Police say on Thursday, November 16th, they received a complaint from a woman who said her son had been repeatedly calling and harassing her, as well as threatening her while demanding  assistance with his disabled vehicle.
Officers found him and he was arrested.
Police say he was taken to the police station where he attempted to strike one of the officers and threatened both of the officers.
Police also found out the man had violated his bail by going to his mother’s house a couple of days before.
The 33-year-old Espanola man was charged with three counts of uttering threats, as well as one count of assaulting police and failing to comply with recognizance.
He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
