Santa shuffle for Salvation Army gets Espanola support

A group of women from Espanola went to Sudbury to run the streets for a good cause.

The Santa Shuffle 5K race was held in Sudbury on Saturday with money raised going to the Salvation Army.

The six women love to jog and enter various events throughout the year.

They raised $319 for the cause.

Over 400 participants walked or ran their way to the finish line raising just under $20,000 for The Salvation Army in Sudbury.

This was the 27th year for the Santa Shuffle.
