The Blind River Beavers defeated the Elliot Lake Wildcats on Friday night with a score of 7 to 2, then went on to defeat the Espanola Express 4-1 Saturday evening in Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League play.
The Elliot Lake Wildcats came back on Sunday and withstood a late Soo Thunderbirds third period comeback to win in double overtime giving them a 4-3 victory Sunday night.
