Rainbow Schools canvass for non-perishable food items V1 11/14/17
Students in Rainbow Schools in Sudbury, Espanola and Manitoulin will canvass for non-perishable food items for local food banks this Thursday.
Espanola schools are taking part in Stuff the Bus with Veterans providing a bus to fill with items on Thursday.
This is the fourth annual Rainbow Kids Helping Kids Day, which is part of the Rainbow District School Board’s annual efforts to support the Kids Helping Kids Christmas Food Drive in memory of Edgar Burton.

The board collected 257,948 items plus $35,515 in monetary donations.
This year, the goal is 257,949 – one more can than last year.
