Students and staff at S. Geiger Public School in Massey will join members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #355 today.
It is the first school in the area to host a Remembrance Day Ceremony.
At 11:30am, students will present literary selections, the choir will sing and students from each class will also present poppies.
On Friday at 1:30 pm, Espanola High School and AB Ellis Public will join together to celebrate Remembrance Day.
Taking part are MP Carol Hughes, MPP Michael Mantha, Legion Branch #39 members, Espanola fire, police and emergency medical staff and local sea cadets.
The public is welcome to attend.
