Scouts information session set for tonight for Espanola area

Any parents who have children between eight and 14 who are interested in scouting will want to attend an important meeting this evening.

Last Friday, Moose News reported Scouts are returning to Espanola and the North Shore.

Robert Haarmayer who has been working closely with Scouts Canada says things are moving quickly now to form the troop.

The information session for parents will take place tonight at 5:00pm at the Espanola Regional Recreation Complex.

The new troop will welcome two age groups at this time: Cub Scouts for eight to 10 years of age and Scouts for 11 to 14.

The troop is open to boys and girls.
