The North East Region Ontario Provincial Police Awards Ceremony will honour citizens and OPP members, both uniform and civilian tomorrow.
Awards and recognition will be given for acts of bravery and exemplary performance of duty.
And, length of service will also be recognized.
The presentation will take place this Wednesday at 1:00pm at the Blind River Community Centre.
OPP Commissioner Vince Hawkes and North East Region Chief Superintendent Fern Labelle will present the awards for 20 and 30 year service, as well as Commissioner’s Commendations for Exemplary Performance of Duty, Outstanding Investigation, and Citations for Lifesaving and St. John Ambulance among others.
