A couple of weeks ago, The Moose shared a story about Espanola High School wanting to turn their center courtyard into a peaceful gathering place for students.

That initiative, led by teacher Jayson Stewart, has moved another step forward.

Stewart says the school has applied to the Aviva Community Fund and needs your votes.

The Aviva Community Fund helps people make positive changes in the community.

Aviva will donate another $1+ million this year.
What can you do? Vote … go to: www.avivacommunityfund.org to vote online, just find Espanola High and submit.
The high school is also asking for donations from the public in the form of outdoor furniture, plants and decorations.

To donate, call Stewart at 869-1590.
