Driving on a motorized scooter without a licence is a chargeable offence as an Elliot Lake man found out last week.
Last Tuesday, OPP officers in Elliot Lake say stopped the man on a motorized scooter.
Under the Highway Traffic Act, motorized scooters are considered a vehicle.
Police say he was known to them and they knew he had a driver’s license suspension.
The man was arrested and the scooter towed.

The 59-year-old faces charges of driving while disqualified and failure to comply with a probation order.
He is to appear in Elliot Lake court on October 31st.
