Pele Mountain has named a vice president of its Aboriginal Affairs division.  Martin Cooper has been a director with the mining company for 18 years and he’s overseen its talks with First Nations on land management.  Cooper is an archeologist by trade and has expertise in Aboriginal cultural heritage.  Pele has been working toward an agreement with the Serpent River First Nation as it tries to open a uranium mine in Elliot Lake.
