Long-Time Volunteer Helen Noonan Passes Away

Espanola has lost one of its most active volunteers.
Helen Noonan of Espanola passed away last Wednesday.
Noonan was well known for her outgoing personality and giving spirit.

Not only was she a long-time member of the Espanola Royal Purple for 43 years, she also served a term as the first female Exalted Ruler of the Elks of Canada.
Noonan also volunteered for over 30 years with the Eastern Star.
Her memorial service is at the United Church of Espanola this Thursday, October 5th at 11:00 AM.
The interment of her ashes in the Espanola Cemetery will be followed by a reception and luncheon at the Espanola Elks.

She was 74.
