The centre court yard at Espanola High School is getting a much-needed facelift while offering a peaceful space for students facing stress.

Teacher, Jayson Stewart, the work has begun to develop the courtyard into a calming area for students who need it.

Stewart says Mike Barrati, EHS construction teacher will also be having students build gazebos and benches for the space.

The high school is also asking for donations from the public in the form of outdoor furniture, plants and decorations.

To donate, call Stewart at 869-1590.
