Protestors hope City and developer got message over plaza delay

The Elliot Lake resident who organized last Thursday’s protest on the   Pearson Plaza says there could be another demonstration in the future.  Debbie Cleland says it all depends on whether work ever starts at the site.  Thursday’s protest drew 50 to 60 people unhappy that the plaza, which was supposed to open this year, hasn’t even started construction.  Cleland is confident that the Pearson Plaza fiasco will dominate questions at an all candidates’ debate next month.
