If you live in Espanola and still use green garbage bags, you might want to fast-track getting rid of them. As of November 3rd Espanola residents can no longer put out the green bags for pick-up. The town expects people to start using clear bags. However it will let residents put sensitive items in one privacy bag which must then by placed in the clear bag. Come November 3rd if you’re garbage is not in clear bags, it will be left behind. Also for information on the Green Box program, pamphlets are available at the town office, recreation centre or public works.
