As OPP in Wawa continue to investigate the discovery of human remains, there’s word that the OPP’s criminal investigation branch and the marine crime unit from Sault Ste. Marie are now part of the case. The remains were found late Sunday afternoon at Lake Superior Provincial Park south of Wawa. A forensic anthropologist has been called to help the corner and pathology units with the investigation. OPP still haven’t said if the remains belong to a man or woman.
