A well-known educator from the Wiky First Nation has passed away. Stephen Fox taught for 34 years and held several positions including principal and post-secondary counsellor. Fox was also part of the Manitoulin – North Shore Aboriginal Teacher Education Program. Grand Council Chief Pat Madahbee says Fox had a big impact on his students and he’ll be missed. In addition to teaching, Fox was athletic taking part in several sports including the Wiky Road Race. Fox leaves behind his wife Monica, three children and several grandchildren.
