CN is getting a thumbs up from Nickel Belt MP Marc Serre for reducing train-caused traffic delays in Capreol. Serre says Canadian National has installed Centralized Traffic Control technology that lets trains move through a key crossing at 25 miles an hour. The crossing in question is at Young Street. With the technology in place, motor vehicle traffic won’t have as long a wait. Serre held a town-hall meeting with CN, residents and businesses after getting numerous complaints about the delays. Serre commends CN for listening to and acting on the concerns of the people.
