It hasn’t taken Mike Mantha long to respond to a letter from Keith Moyer of Elliot Lake who calls the Ontario Liberals and Hydro One hypocrites. Mantha tells Moyer he shares his frustration that the Liberals first got us out of coal at a cost and then got us back into it with the Avista purchase. Avista is a major U. S. energy company that’s into coal. Mantha says the mess we’re into today started with the Conservatives when they started to sell off Hydro and continued with the Liberals. He says getting Hydro One back into public ownership will start to fix these problems. Mantha says little can happen before the next election but in the meantime people can let the Premier know they’re not happy with the situation she’s created by phoning her office or writing letters.
