Funding for Local Arts Organizations

A few local art groups have been awarded a total of $47,292 from the Ontario Arts Council.

Windsong Music was awarded $9,845 for the Windsong Music Festival which features Canadian artists.

Capital Centre received $14,000 dollars towards programming pop-up dance events, as well as six thousand to put towards its presentation and audience development activities.

Les Compagnons des francs Loisirs received $17,000 for its annual Francophone culture celebration in the North Bay region. This celebration includes theatre productions, music and art exhibits.
