A pattern is emerging from a series of fraudulent calls to people in Northern Ontario. North Bay police say calls are being made from a phone number that’s linked with more fraudulent calls in Ontario. Five North Bay residents got hit with fraudulent calls within one hour this week although it doesn’t appear anyone was victimized. The number con artists are using is 519-800-1046. Police say if you get a call from that number don’t give the caller any personal information and hang up.
