The rod and gun club in Elliot Lake is trying to get people interested in archery. To that end the club is holding an open house later this month it’s billing as an archery fun shoot. Experienced archer Mike King will explain what archery is all about. People can get a feel for shooting arrows in several events like balloon and melon shoots. The open house is for adults and children accompanied by an adult. It’s September 27th at the rod and gun clubhouse in the North Industrial Park.
