Illegal fishing results in major consequence

A Mississauga First Nation man is paying a heavy price for catching a threatened fish species.  Kevin Poulton is banned from fishing for Lake Sturgeon for 15 years plus he has to pay a $500.  Last September Poulton gave three Toronto men several pounds of Lake Sturgeon meat and about 25 pounds of sturgeon eggs.  The Ministry of Natural Resources caught the Toronto men and eventually the trail led to Poulton.  Lake Sturgeon has been decimated in parts of the world because of over-fishing and people turning their eggs into caviar.  Fishing for Lake Sturgeon in Ontario has been illegal since 2008.
