Fedeli discusses northern issues with regional mayors

When MPP’s return to Queen’s Park this fall, Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli will have an armful of problems he’ll hand over to the Liberals.  Fedeli met with northern mayors to see what’s hurting the north and how to address the challenges.  All the municipal leaders are worried about high power rates.  Those sky-high rates have forced the closure of more than 60 mills across the north over the past few years.  Fedeli says the meeting was fruitful and adds he will bring these issues up in the Legislature.  The former North Bay mayor met with mayors of Iroquois Falls, Cochrane and Black River-Matheson.  Fedeli is considering a run for the Tory leadership and will announce his intentions this month.
