About 13,400 students are part of the Rainbow District School Board system this year. Elementary schools account for more than half the enrolment at nearly 8,500 students and the remainder are high school students. The figures include about 1,500 students enrolled in the early learning kindergarten program. Final enrolment figures will come out in late October.
