Sturgeon Falls team wins Northern Ontario Mixed Doubles Curling crown

A curling team from Sturgeon Falls has won the Northern Ontario Mixed Doubles championship.  Karen and Dean Pigeau defeated a team from Sault Ste. Marie 7-3 to win the championship and now heads to Saskatoon for the nationals.  The quest for the Canadian championship takes place from April 5th to the 9th and the top three finishers get a bye to next year’s curling trials for the Winter Olympics.
