The public inquiry into the deadly mall collapse in Elliot Lake will be made public in mid October in the community. The roof-top collapse killed two women in June 2012. The report will detail how a steal-beam collapsed in the parking garage’s roof because of years of corrosion. A former engineer is facing criminal charges related to the roof cave-in.
