If he seeks the Tory nomination, Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli fully expects the media to make Mike Harris comparisons. He says it’s inevitable since Harris represented the same riding when he was the Progressive Conservative. But Fedeli isn’t worried that the comparisons will hurt his chances at winning the leadership. What Fedeli will focus on is how the present Liberal government makes the choice to spend more than it takes in resulting in high taxes and debt. Fedeli will keep promoting his Big Ideas theme and is confident that people from many walks of life will agree his plans can turn Ontario around. The former North Bay mayor is expected to announce his intentions for the Tory leadership this month.
