Blind River is getting in on the ice bucket challenge. It’s at noon Saturday at the gazebo behind the Royal Bank. The event is open to anyone who wants to take part. You need to bring a bucket of ice water or if you prefer, lake water. High profile people confirmed so far are local mayor Sue Jensen and Moose FM morning man Bob Alexander in Elliot Lake The ice bucket challenge has become an international craze where celebrities and people from all walks of life get ice water dumped on them to raise money for ALS.
