Parents in the Espanola, Manitoulin and the North Shore are taking their time confirming whether their kids will take a bus to school this year. The agency that handles school bus services has only confirmed that 59 percent of students will use its services. That means 41 percent of parents still haven’t told the Sudbury Student Services Consortium that their kids take the bus. Parents have until August 20th to tell the agency that their child will use a bus on the first day of school. After the 20th the earliest the consortium can handle your information is after September 15th since it’s lining up school routes.
