Smaller OPP detachments being realigned

Next spring will see changes on how OPP detachments in our area are grouped.  As of April 1st, the Noelville, Warren and Killarney detachments will become satellites of the Sudbury OPP.  Also the Espanola OPP, which is now aligned with the Sudbury office, will be grouped with the Manitoulin OPP.  The OPP says the restructuring won’t affect highway patrols or office hours and is designed to make operations more efficient.  The realignment isn’t taking place until the spring in order to address any concerns.
