College Boreal is joining a provincial campaign to raise awareness on sexual violence. The campaign is called Draw the Line and it’s being introduced at all Boreal campus sites. Boreal president Daniel Giroux says every college student and employee has the right to work and study in a safe environment. Giroux adds people at the college shouldn’t have to worry about sexual violence.
Boreal says consent is the key to a relationship between adults and adds No means No! Under the campaign, Boreal will put resources in place with the goal of ending sexual violence and harassment. The college is now developing a website that helps people access the means they need in order to ensure a safe work and study environment.
