The Lieutenant Governor of Ontario is making the rounds to multiple northern cities this week. Elizabeth Dowdeswell will be in Sault Ste. Marie, Elliot Lake, Manitoulin Island, and Northern Bruce Peninsula. Her northern tour kicks off today in the Soo.
Dowdeswell will be in Elliot Lake tomorrow, meeting with the mayor and touring the Mining Monument. She’ll then meet with representatives of the development community to discuss local initiatives. Dowdeswell will also visit the Lester B. Pearson Civic Centre, the fire tower lookout, and Sheriff Creek Wildlife Sanctuary.
