Water restrictions have officially begun in Espanola as upgrades to the water tower are now underway. The tower is offline as the interior lining is replaced, repairs are being done, and the outside gets a new paint job. The town is asking its residents to watch their water consumption over the next few months, as the water restrictions are in place until the end of July.
Water restriction maps have been mailed out, or they are available for pickup at the public works office.
