Ontario hydro is changing how they deal with smart meters in northern Ontario. The smart meters will be staying in, but when bills are not making sense, they will be read manually.
Temiskaming-Cochrane MPP John Vanthof says it can vary from house to house. Vanthof says if there is confusion with your bill, call your hydro company to make sure your meter is working correctly.
