The construction association in Sault Ste. Marie is taking a hardline position over Essar Steel`s restructuring. Spokesman Adam Pinder says any bailout money the feds and province give Essar should go to the local businesses it owes money to. Locally businesses and City Hall are owed $40-million. The problem is the money they are owed falls into an unsecured category meaning they`ll get next to nothing, if anything, after restructuring. Only the secured lenders are first in line to get money owed to them.
