Police have arrested a man who shot a dog with an arrow earlier this week just north of Sault Ste. Marie. The 51-year-old from Goulais River is charged with cruelty to animals. Police say the dog was wandering around the neighbourhood in Havilland Township on Monday when it was hit. The injured dog managed to get back to its home with an arrow in its side.
