Here’s an early heads up on a hydro outage next month. Hydro One is turning off the juice in East Algoma on Sunday, September 13th. The four hour blackout begins at 8:00am that day. The affected areas take in the townships of Shakespeare, Salter and Harrow as well as the communities of Sable-Spanish Rivers and the Spanish River First Nation. About one thousand customers will be affected.
