Caroline Ehrhardt of Espanola is back to training after spending a few days in her hometown. The four-time Canadian triple jump champion is preparing to qualify for next year’s Summer Olympics. While in town, she got to meet fans, former teachers at Espanola High School and members of Town council. Mayor Ron Piche thanked Ehrhardt for her contribution. A highlight of the homecoming was a slide show of Ehrhardt’s past performances including last month’s Pan-Am Games.
