Hughes steps into ACR fray

Algoma Manitoulin Kapuskasing MP Carol Hughes is weighing in on the Algoma Central Railway situation.  Hughes says if the Harper Tories do nothing to help keep the rail line operational, there’s trouble ahead.  She says many businesses depend on the service which supports hundreds of jobs.  Sault Ste. Marie city council wants the federal government to create a five-year, $7 million program.  Council says the multi-year funding will allow a third party to grow the ACR service.
