Latest minimum wage increase concerns chamber

Add the North Bay chamber of commerce to the chorus of northern groups opposed to the latest minimum wage increase.  The chamber agrees everyone has the right to fair wages.  But it says the reality is many businesses can’t afford another increase.  President Jake Lacourse says it’s more than just another 25 cent an hour.  Lacourse says every wage increase adds more costs to payroll taxes.  The chamber is worried that some businesses may just decide to pack it in and move to other places where wages aren’t as high.
