Espanola toddler back home

A young Espanola toddler who has a serious but treatable heart condition is finally back home.  Autumn McCulligh has been at Sick Kids in Toronto since the spring as the result of her heart stopping during a procedure that resulted in brain damage.  Doctors kept her hospitalized so they could do rehab work on the youngster.  A family member says Autumn did well enough that doctors have allowed her to go home.  Autumn is still recovering from the brain injury and is still on oxygen.  Also now that she’s a bit older, doctors expect to carry out her heart surgery in the near future.
