Before the end of the summer, the Northern Ontario Party will have a democratically elected board. The process begins next month when the party holds its first ever Annual General Meeting near Timmins at Kettles Lake Provincial Park. The August 12th to 14th AGM will start the ball rolling for nominations for a new board until August 27th. NOP members will then vote August 28th and 29th on who should be on the board with the results being made public September 1st. Kettles Lake was chosen as the AGM site because it’s central enough to allow NOP members from across the north to make it to the meeting.
