Matt Bedard of Manitoulin has won a silver medal at the Special Olympics World Winter Games. It’s for snowshoeing in the 800 metres. Kelsey Mellan, also from Manitoulin, raced in the 100 metre snow-shoeing and finished eight. The games are going on in Austria.
