Manitoulin museum trying to display Lester B. Pearson artifacts

Some Lester B. Pearson artifacts could find their way to Manitoulin this summer.   A drive is underway by the Old Mill Heritage Centre in Kagawong to display the artifacts as a Canada 150 project.  The artifacts are in boxes in Ottawa at the National Archives.  They include the former Prime Minister`s Order of Canada and his Nobel Peace Prize.  The museum has started a Go Fund Me campaign to raise the money to get the artifacts from Ottawa to the Island.  The link is https://www.gofundme.com/lester-b-pearson-and-canadian-flag    Pearson was the MP of Algoma East from 1948 to 1968.
