Mike Mantha, the riding MPP, still can’t get a straight answer from the Wynne Liberals on the future of the Service Ontario office in Blind River. In June, the Liberals announced the closure of nine of the offices across Ontario but then suspended the closures after a rally in Blind River. Mantha says since then, the office workers have been in limbo. But he says the Liberals have reversed a decision in at least one case he knows of and that’s the Services Ontario office in Guelph which he says will now stay open. In response to this question about the Blind River office, the minister of government and consumer services says the future off each office will be determined on a case by case basis.
